About the speaker:

Breanna Faye is an architect, designer, spatial thinker, and creative maker, who went from growing up in cornfields of the sleepy midwest to working on projects at the forefront of technology. I enjoy working in an array of international economies, contexts, and cultures, with experience developing design solutions across North and Latin America, Southeast Asia, West Africa, the Middle East and Europe.  Prior to working as a design researcher for MIT and leading a team at Code and Theory, I worked on an array of projects spanning a modular housing urban analysis for new mining camp developments in South America to GPS-enabled bicycle helmets designed to navigate cities in the safest and most “hands-free” means. I am currently working on projects involving concept development for the Future of Work, Mass Transit and Mobility, design for the Blockchain and cryptocurrency/token platforms, Connected “Smart” Buildings, Neighborhoods, and Cities, including designing and strategizing for the Hyperloop (SpaceX launched), and an autonomous, on-demand mobile office that decreases traffic and aims to shorten the 9 hour workday by providing a productive space “en route” to the office.
